I built a prototype of a digital portfolio on top of Google Drive. I've been using it to digitize my kids' work for a few years now. It looks like our school will stick with google sites for the time being, but I'm still holding out hope this proves useful one day.

The basic idea of the system is to associate metadata with google drive files. Each item in the portfolio is simply a google drive file (or a collection of google drive files).

My Web App simply provides you with a view of the Google Drive items you've posted. All hosting, sharing, etc. is handled by Google Drive under the hood.

We also provide the ability to create a reflection in a related google doc.
