Our students try to track their goals over time; often a part of this is looking at particular grades from particular classes. Advisors also track student grades. I built a visual toolkit to allow you to see trends in student grades as a graph over time. I also built an advisor view with a "dashboard" like interface. No screenshots as of yet since I only use it with real data and I'm too lazy to black out names to make a screenshot. Other cool grade visualization projects include a transcript visualization I built to show how kids move through high school between various buckets (roughly synonymous with "A students," "B students", "C students" and dropping out. This let us see how many kids are dropping off or making gains in each semester over time, and lets you see the different "flows" of students (including students who are retained or leave the school).
