Our school has a morning announcement system where teachers can post announcements to be read to the school. We had a problem where people would tend to add announcements, but never delete them.

This slide show automatically manages the announcements so that new slides are highlighted and slides "expire" after a certain amount of time (they get an "expired" banner added to them and they get added to the end)

Because QR codes are commonly used in our school to give students links off a projector, I added a menu item to take any highlighted link on a presentation and insert a QR code for it.
